USP Pervious Pavers Project

When: Saturday May 24

Where: Colonia de San Bernardo, Tijuana

Come help us make pervious pavers for a community in Tijuana! The residents will later pave their dirt streets with these hexagonal blocks which will help their pollution and erosion problem. It will also help San Diego because their pollution runs into the Tijuana river which empties into the San Diego Bay and this project would stop the problem at the source.

The USP Club is a student club affiliated with UCSD Associated Students. The purpose of the organization is to further the interest on campus of Urban Studies & Planning as a field of study, enrich student social networks, offer exposure to professional careers in the field, and offer opportunities to get to know professors in a friendly, inviting environment.
